Mascot Redesign The titular mascot Frilly May is an energetic little girl in a frilled neck lizard costume. The client wanted a redesign that was distinctly Australian, so I gave her a frilled neck that loosely resembles the shape of Australia. Her eye-catching colour scheme is inspired by the orange bottlebrush.
Animation Materials Frilly May sails down iconic Australian waterways in her bathtub boat - the Yarra River, Dove Lake, Sydney Harbour, Katherine Falls and the Great Barrier Reef. Along the way she also encounters many local animals.
